"R7 was built on the back of providing creative storytelling and delivering our quality services faster than anyone in the business.
As a hands on creative director I cut my teeth in all areas of production. Early on, my love for film production was born through non-linear film editing of reality series, network television promos, commercials, but most of all music videos. Not only was it the most experimental form of filmmaking at the time but I came into the business at the height of its success, with average music video budgets coming in at $750,000 to 1 million dollars. I rode the wave right into the advent of HD and the era of falling production budgets when less had to be made into more.
What I loved the most was helping storytellers see their vision come to life and being part of launching their careers.
Today, Podcasts are the new music video, and their hosts are the new storytellers, that is why I am excited to reintroduce video editing back into R7 list of hands on creative services. -Young
